First Insurance Co (listed on ASE) announced its financial statements which showed that the company achieved JOD 1.037 million net profits before taxes.

The company’s profits after taxes and allocations accounted for JOD 777 thousand.

Moreover, profits of the company’s policyholders before taxes increased also significantly during the first half of 2014 to JOD 150 thousand against JOD 36 thousand during the same period of 2013.

Total subscribed premiums during the first half of 2014 rose by 5.2% to JOD 13.076 million against JOD 12.429 million during the first half of 2013.
